Our editorial service
ITBank provides technology information, educational guidance and analysis. An article’s format, sources, publication or update dates and material disclosures help explain its scope. Content marked as awaiting editorial approval has not completed that process.
Material is provided for general information. It does not establish a professional advisory relationship or a promise of employment, business results, product performance or financial returns. Consider your circumstances and verify information relevant to an important decision.
Technical guidance and changing information
Software, prices, product availability and market conditions can change. Check instructions against the documentation for the versions and services you use. Where examples are illustrative, do not treat them as reported events or measured results.
Use appropriate backups and a suitable test environment before applying technical instructions to important systems. You remain responsible for the permissions and decisions involved in your use of those systems.
Copyright, attribution and permissions
Rights in articles, artwork and other materials belong to their respective rights holders. You may link to ITBank and use material where an applicable licence or law permits it. Identify ITBank and the relevant author when attributing a permitted quotation.
Full republication, commercial reuse or distribution beyond an applicable licence or legal permission requires authorization from the rights holder. Third-party documentation, logos and linked sources retain their own terms. A link does not transfer rights in the linked material.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, impersonate a contributor, disrupt the website or misuse another person’s information. Do not artificially generate advertising clicks or impressions or present an advertisement as an ITBank endorsement.
Automated access must respect applicable law, technical access restrictions and any permissions governing the material. Access to a public page does not grant unrestricted rights to republish its contents.
External services and commercial links
External websites and service providers determine their own availability, terms and privacy practices. Article references provide context and attribution. Advertising, sponsorship and affiliate relationships must be disclosed in accordance with our Advertising & Affiliate Policy.
A transaction with a third party is governed by the relevant provider’s terms. ITBank does not become the seller solely because an article links to a product or service.
Availability and responsibility
We aim to keep material useful and accurate, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability or that every page remains current. We may correct, update, reorganize or withdraw material when appropriate, with significant editorial corrections handled under our Corrections Policy.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, remedies or responsibilities that cannot lawfully be excluded. The application of these terms remains subject to applicable law.
